How’s the MOQ policy?
Generally, 1X20’GP at least. Almost all of our orders are at least 1X40’HQ which is the better way to save more sea freight. And most of them are several 40’HQs. You can mix the containers with our several series products, such as incandescent bulbs, energy saving lamps, fluorescent tubes, halogen lamps, LED lamps, indoor or outdoor lighting fixtures and other items. Anyway, if you really need some items for a trial, we also can serve you.
As the fragile cargo, how do you serve your client?
We use preferable packing materials to prevent our lamps from bumping. Also, we always pull the containers to our own factory for loading, which will reduce the risks during the inland transport. And our professional loaders treat the bulbs more carefully than the ordinary ones. Anyway, as it is hard to avoid “ZERO” breakage, we’ll compensate some spare parts in your container if needed.
Could you please send us samples of your products free of charge?
Yes, if the total amount of samples is less than US$100.00, you can get our samples free of charge, and you just need to warrant us your express account. If we get your FCL order, we can return you the sample charge.
Is Wellmax certificated by ISO system ?
Of course we are, in June 2001 Wellmax is approvable by ISO9002, and August 2002, we get certification ISO9001:2000, and ISO14000 as well. We have nearly all main certifications for European and American market, you can get the copies from our website or contact your regional salesmen directly.

What is lamp source? and what is luminaire or fitting? any difference?
A complete lighting unit consisting of a lamp (or lamps), ballast (or ballasts) as required together with the parts designed to distribute the light, position and protect the lamps and connect them to the power supply. A luminaire is often referred to as a fixture. The luminaire: An individual lighting assembly including the lamp and any housings, reflectors, globes, lenses, shields or other components designed to block or distribute light. For the purposes of this ordinance, an internally illuminated sign is not considered a luminaire The lamp: as the source of light being emitted from a luminaire, such as a bulb or LED. Their relationship is inseparable parts for lighting unit, in the help from necessary accessories, such as transformers, ballast, starters or etc.
Does Wellmax manufacture lamp source as well? Can we buy only your fittings with other supplier lamp sources?

Then what is difference of electromagnetic (inductive) and electronic ballast?
An electromagnetic lighting ballast uses electromagnetic induction to provide the starting and operating voltages of a gas discharge light. Inside each is a coil of wire and an electromagnetic field that together transform voltage. Some also include an igniter for high-power applications. Electromagnetic ballasts limit the flow of current to the light but do not change the frequency of the input power. The lamp then illuminates on each half-cycle of the power source. This is why many fluorescent and neon lights visibly flicker. Since the light illuminates on half-cycles, the rate of flicker is twice the frequency of the power source, meaning the light will flicker at 100Hz or 120Hz. A lead-lag lighting ballast can minimize flicker when connected to two lamps by alternating the flow of current to them: one leading the frequency of the input power and the other lagging behind it. A more modern type of lighting ballast is electronic instead of electromagnetic. An electronic lighting ballast uses solid state circuitry to transform voltage, but unlike electromagnetic ballasts, can also alter the frequency of power. This means that an electronic lighting ballast can greatly reduce or eliminate any flicker in the lamps. Because it uses solid-state circuitry instead of magnetic coils, it is also more efficient and therefore runs cooler. Because of their greater efficiency and ability to reduce flicker, electronic ballasts are more popular than electromagnetic ballasts, and are often used to replace them, also recommended by Wellmax lighting. A few applications, however, require an electromagnetic lighting ballast, such as ballasts that must preheat or ballasts for extremely high output lamps.
What is ballast? Why need ballast in luminaire?
A lighting ballast is a piece of equipment required to control the starting and operating voltages of electrical gas discharge lights. Examples of gas discharge light sources include fluorescent and neon lights and high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps. The term lighting ballast can refer to any component of the circuit intended to limit the flow of current through the light, from a single resistor to more complex devices. The lighting ballast is necessary to operate discharge lights because they have negative resistance, meaning they are unable to regulate the amount of current that passes through them. A lighting ballast must be used to control current flow; otherwise the light could fail. Small light sources can use passive components, which require no additional power to operate, as ballasts. An example would be a series resistor that limits the flow of current across its terminals. For high-powered lights, however, a resistor would waste a large amount of electricity, so a more complex lighting ballast is required.
